I went on a Sunday morning at 9am with my daughter. They were busy but we were sat immediately by the hostess, and attended to right away by a friendly waitress. There was ample staff and two managers on duty (I'm assuming they were managers--they were wearing button down shirts and were directing the 'flow of traffic'). Our food came promptly and was good for Denny's. It ain't Sunday champagne brunch at the Grand Bohemian folks. Remember where you walked in. I'd forgotten how dang fluffy the pancakes are, not the least bit healthy but ohhh go good. And no matter where I go for breakfast, I know to ask for my eggs scrambled "well", because otherwise they may come out wet or runny and that's not my preference. My daughter's food was good, my food was good. The service was prompt, one of the managers even came by the table and said 'sorry it's taking a while, there's a 9-top that got their order in the kitchen just before yours went in'. I didn't think it was taking very long, thanked him anyway for being considerate. So, for under ten bucks I got to have a pretty good breakfast for myself and my kiddo. If you're like me and look through the junk mail first, you may well find a 20% off your order coupon--yay! So, for seven bucks and change, we were decently fed and (singing and dancing here) I didn't have to make it or do the diiiishess!! :) Oh, and kids eat free (from the kids menu, of course) after 4 on weekdays. I'll be back. "I liked their food", from my 6 year old darling daughter.

Had limited food in the kitchen. They overcooked what they did have and still served it to customers. They actually served me a basket of burnt onion rings like it was a normal, everyday thing. After asking for the manager, we noticed that there was a line of representatives from every table waiting for their turn to complain. Needless to say, our "food" was free... Update: They have been shut down due to sucking.

Absolute worst service I have ever seen. The servers yell at each other infront of the customers for taking orders at their tables. The young girl was very friendly but getting scolded at by an older woman named Kathy. I will never return to this location, at my job I would have been fired on the spot if I acted that way infront of the customers. Horrible communication in this place between the management and the servers. I feel terrible for the people that actually call this place their work.
(1)Jonathan H.
This location isn't the best Denny's I've been to. The staff there is mostly rude (except for one guy) and they don't take phone orders unless they feel like it.
(1)Andrew G.
Literally the worst and most ridiculous dining experience I ever had. The place was empty, and after waiting an hour with my brother and parents for eggs and pancakes we walked out. The restaurant was dirty, and the table was cleaner before they wiped it with a drenched dirty rag when we sat down that left milk all over the table. Our waitress was very rude, and even after complaining twice she did not check on our food. They were incredibly understaffed. I would hate to see the place when it was crowded, although with that kind of service I doubt that happens much. STAY AWAY!

Wow where to begin. From hearing the cook complain about having to make siracha chicken because it's a pain in the associated to make and he is more worried about trading shifts so he could be off for his 21st birthday. ..bathrooms that are dirtier than an outhouse...no management. ..screwed up orders....I understand now why they had a list of employees for hire...sad usually like denny's

Hubby and I stopped there for a late breakfast this morning and the first thing I noticed was sugar all over the seats. Luckily, the waitress noticed too and brushed it off with her hands. The next thing, the container that holds the sugar packets was empty. As I took it out of the holder to give her I saw how dirty it was. Just slightly disgusting! I ordered the waffle grand slam and he ordered the regular grand slam breakfast. His was ok and mine was just barely ok. Everything was good except the scrambled eggs were awfully wet. Just not appetizing. The restrooms were filthy, men's and women's. If I had seen them first, I would have walked out without ordering. Won't be back to this place!!

I've been to almost every Denny's in Orlando over the years and this location is by far the best! The food is great and since they are open at all hours, you can get breakfast at any time! Rather it's early or late, I love the breakfast burito with egg whites and chicken sausage. If I'm not in the mood for breakfast the Super Bird sandwich is great... make sure you ask for your fries extra crispy for an even better taste. I even like their spaghetti and meatballs which comes with surprisingly good garlic bread and tastes awesome! My girlfriend loves to go here for their turkery burger with pepper jack cheese on a wheat bun with extra crispy fries. She loves it so much she even likes to go here on Saturday nights after work like we did tonight. Everything I've tried has been great so kudos to the chef/cook who obviously knows what he's doing! Their milk shakes are large and old fashion style which means they bring you what didn't fit in the glass, in the silver cup they made it in. Other deserts are great here too including their apple crips ala mode. I personally like their puppy sundae which costs only $2 and puts my sweet tooth to rest! In additon to the tasty food, the service is exceptional at this location every time we go. Friendly, attentive, and upbeat. Everything you wouldn't expect from a Denny's and more... I'm saying that in a good way! Definitely give this location a try next time your in the Winter Park Aloma/436 area!

Never again. Cold food for my wife and me... Horrible service and no manager talks to me about the situation...
(1)Aubrey H.
I'd give this experience zero stars is I could because I walked out even before I even got to sit down at a table. My friend and I walked in and were immediately hit with a repulsive smell. I can't even tell you what it smelled like but it gave me the impression that if I touched the walls my hands would be covered in a slime the corresponded with the stench. We were eventually greeted by a slovenly employee that told us the only server was backed up and she would get to us at some point. Then this woman went back to doing absolutely nothing. I didn't understand why she couldn't take a moment to accommodate customers when her only position requirement was to clearly walk around with a smell bad face, scratch her long dirty hair, and then rub the residue on her trademark Denny's black polo. I then turned to my comrade and told her I we had to leave. I was disgusted by the restaurant and was upset that no one was able to give us a place to sit. We ended up having lunch at Patsio's down the street and had a lovely time.

ZERO STARS! This place is a dump! The place should be torn down and something nice & new built. Stopped in w/my son for breakfast bit of a wait - table was sticky menu was sticky front door was sticky were my first clues. Ordered water & apple juice glasses were both filthy had orange pulp stuck to the inside for not being clean. BIG smear of lipstick on my coffee mug. Asked for manager showed him the filth and told him to cancel the order. He was very apologetic almost embarrassed at what he had seen. I called the health dept the next day. I've worked in food service and know it takes a lot of hard work to have a good and clean store. Will never go back may call Denny's corp office also. NASTY!!
(1)Domino M.
If I could I would give this place 0 stars! I used to work here and I have never seen such bad servers! A lady fell in the bathroom and the manager said oh well! There are cockroaches under the booth seats but they never take car of it 100%! The managers there said that servers come a dime a dozen and treated people and employees like crap! They even lost my last paycheck and I had to wait a month before it was mailed to me! Now that I no how things are prepared there I will never eat there again!
(1)Shawn S.
It's been a long time since I've been to a Denny's but they have added quite a few things to their menu. I would go back and try some of the new sandwiches. I just happen to stop in for breakfast, remembering the original grand slam. I cannot find the original grand slam on the menu but was directed to the area where I could create my own slam. I was able to pick four items for less than seven dollars. Not a bad price. The bacon was a little bit chewy. I might not select that next time. Overall the service was great.
(3)Lauren P.
I wish I could give 0 stars!! This place is the worst dining experience I've ever had in my life! It took literally 15 minutes for them to seat us even though their were 4 customers in the entire restaurant. They had 2 waiters who were no where to be found. When they finally seated us the table was filthy and their were no silverware on the table. We had to chase the waiter down and beg for our drinks. When the food came it was cold and disgusting and not what we asked for. We had to exchange silverware 5 times because every roll was dirty and had old food crusted on them. I wouldn't eat here for free much less spend my hard earned money!
(1)Ashlyn W.
Going in here late night you are going to expect a long wait. There is only one person in the dining room and one guy in the kitchen. I have sat there before and waited for fifteen minutes (I know that may not seem long) for one burger. I think I have still been lucky because I have seen other people walk in and wait 15 minutes just to be addressed by the waiter. The food is okay and it is just basically the Dennys food you have expected. Oh but also check your drink one time when we came in there was a random ant in the water. I hear that it is better during the day so definitely try eating there before 11pm.
(2)Jennifer F.
I would give it is done zero stars if it would let me I'm sitting here 20 minutes for the check the food was salty greasy the service is lacking and if you're smart you'll go to another denny's
(1)Joselyn D.
Went to try and have a nice breakfast with my son. First they had no regular Orange Juice as they were awaiting a "delivery". I eat healthy (mostly) so I ordered a Fit Fare meal that consisted of egg white omelet with mushrooms and spinach no cheese. I asked for turkey bacon and grits. I receive my meal with what they called turkey bacon, very flaccid and greasy. I ask to please crisp up. The grits was cold so I just put to the side. She brings back the turkey still flaccid but burnt, she offers regular bacon I said ok. Also, I ask for whole wheat toast as i couldn't eat the grits. Bacon came fine but my toast was slathered with butter. As I try the omelet, I taste a greasy substance and as I open and dab wityh my napkin it is swimming in oil. Needless to say server was apologetic but could not help but apologize as there was no manager on duty. She agrees that the food was disgusting and defeated the "Fit Fare" purpose if laden with oil and butter. I am out $30.00 and still hungry and disappointed. Never returning to Denny's.
(1)Jon C.
Tom's review from 4 years ago still stands true today. This is my favorite Denny's that is within a reasonable distance from my home, and has been my go-to breakfast diner. Decent food and service consistently. Giving it 4 stars for being an above average Denny's.
(4)Tom A.
This Dennys by far as a decent atmosphere and its never really packed.
(3)Heather O.
I'm going to open with the fact that I'm not a picky eater, I'm a glass-half-full kind of lady who prefers to think positively. I'm a server, so I like to give the benefit of the doubt to restaurants. It takes a lot for me to be an unhappy camper. With that said. Definitely the worst Denny's I've been to, and I've been to quite a few. The only reason I give it a star is because I had to and the server wasn't bad and was very friendly. My three friends and I arrived at 11:00 a.m. to a lobby with three other parties waiting. For a good five or six minutes, everyone stood there, not being addressed by a server, host, anyone. One of the parties waiting just turned around and left. That should have been our first sign. Ten minutes later, the two parties of two in front of us were sat, and we reached the host podium. More waiting. A server came by and said "has anyone let you know it will be a minute?" "No," we said. "No one had told us anything. Or addressed us at all." She said, "Oh, well, it will be a minute, we don't have any open tables." She walked away as we glanced at the two open tables about ten feet away and just shrugged. That should have been our second sign. So we got to our table, got our drinks after a minute and ordered. There wasn't too much that happened next. Why? Because nothing happened next. We sat for literally an hour in our booth waiting for food. I know I'm not exaggerating because the server came over and apologized, because she was keeping track of when we ordered, and admitted we had been waiting an hour. We did get complimentary pancake ball things (as did many other tables, because it seemed the kitchen couldn't get anything out), but a ball of fried pancake batter didn't exactly make up for the half hour of waiting before it or the half hour of waiting after it. We sat as other tables walked out or threatened to walk out. Those who threatened to leave got their food. We sat as other tables who arrived after us received their food. We sat without once being addressed by a manager, who we didn't see until the very end of the meal because we specifically asked for her. We sat as two other tables left, and told us how bad they felt for us, and joked about cooking our meal themselves. We did however have a nice server who kept our drinks full and apologized. She thanked us for being patient; luckily we're all good friends so we were able to chat our way through it. Not her fault; she could only do so much with the most dysfunctional kitchen my friends and I have ever experienced. Once the food finally arrived, it wasn't entirely ready, our sever had to make a few trips. The food itself was lukewarm, and not made well at all. My husband, who really is not a picky eater either, couldn't even finish his meal. Certainly not worth waiting for an hour. The manager gave us a discount, but seemed pretty resigned to the fact that the kitchen was practically inoperable. After almost two hours in the restaurant, we were eager to leave. If you're in the mood for a 2-hour lounge session with mediocre food, this is your place. If you'd like decent food in a reasonable time, go anywhere else.
(1)Gayle P.
When we first sat down the sits were sticky. Then the server handed us the menus and they were greasy with dried food residue left on them. What a filthy place. We left.
